Delegate Statement
DeFi is a new internet paradigm where the users of various products get a chance in shaping the future of these products. This is vastly different from Web 2.0 where the users had almost no say in the products.
Uniswap Governance being one of the earliest decentralization model, is the flag bearer of community led governance in this space.
My goals as a delegate would be to advance the decentralization of Uniswap, enable its adoption on new chains in a sustainable and secure manner as well as contribute to discussions on public goods funding.
Top Issues
DAO working groups
DAO working groups are essential in building a sustainable DAO. In a DAO, Knowledge is distributed among participants and everyone cannot be expected to be an expert on all topics. Hence, working groups that identify a particular issue and work towards a solution are important.
Fee switch
If the fee switch is enabled, I would vote for a portion of the revenue being directed towards public goods funding, as well as other protocols that build on top of Uniswap.
Public goods
I believe that it is essential to fund development and maintanence of Public Goods across the DeFi ecosystem, as many important tools and services face an acute shortage of funding. Some of the areas of interest to me include education, community led support, etc.
